About this Document
Within this title are reproduced images of compiled service records of Confederate soldiers who served in military organizations raised directly or otherwise formed by the Confederate Government and who therefore are not identified with any one state. Two or three of these organizations seem to have been originally considered to be units of the regular Confederate Army. They contain card abstracts of entries relating to each soldier as found in original muster rolls, returns, rosters, payrolls, and more.
